Finance Club
The Hough Graduate Finance Club was established to enhance the financial exposure of all MBAs in the Hough Graduate School of Business. Our club is designed to give students a forum to discuss current financial market conditions as well as strategies for applying finance and investment ideas. The Finance Club is also an active supporter of the Finance Professional Speaker Series presented by the Finance Department. As members of the club, our mission is to attend the series and represent the MBA program by asking engaging questions, speaking with professionals, and fostering a strong relationship between the Finance Department and the MBA program.

The UF MBA Consulting Association is a new club that seeks to aid Hough students interested in a possible career in consulting. Our primary goals are to facilitate discussion of the different aspects of the consulting field and to help members find and obtain available positions. During the academic year, we will hold educational and networking events, including hosting guest speakers from the industry, alumni panels, web conferences, and meet-and-greet opportunities. We also look to actively sharpen our consulting skills by sending teams to case competitions, as well as performing voluntary consulting projects for local entities. Finally, we intend to work very closely with Graduate Business Career Services to attract consulting recruiters to the University of Florida and help us get our feet in the door for any consulting positions.
