MBAA Speaker Event: Andria Long, VP of Innovation, Sara Lee

The MBAA, in collaboration with the Marketing Club, is excited to invite you to an exclusive discussion with UF MBA Alumna, Andria Long, on Sunday November 28th at 6:00pm in Stuzin 200. Andria is the Vice President of Innovation for Sara Lee Corporation in Chicago (see bio below). She is coming to watch the Gators whip up on Florida State and is graciously willing to meet with us the following day! Some of you might be out of town that weekend for Thanksgiving, however if you can make it back by Sunday – or if you are already planning to be in town – you’d be a fool to miss this tremendous opportunity!

Dress for this event is CASUAL and food/beverages will be provided. MBAA members and active Marketing Club members (yes, there is a list) get in FREE! The cost of attendance for non-MBAA or Marketing Club members is $5.

This event is intended to be an informal question-and-answer session. This is an extraordinary chance for you to spend time with a prominent executive in a small-group (MBA-only) environment, so your attendance is highly encouraged.

She is responsible for innovation for Sara Lee’s portfolio brands including Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Ball Park and Sara Lee. Ms. Long is an accomplished consumer packaged goods marketing professional with demonstrated ability in identifying category and consumer insights and translating them into profitable business propositions. She has extensive innovation expertise, both in food and personal care, with a proven track record of in-market success. Prior to joining Sara Lee, Ms. Long worked on innovation for the St. Ives brand at Alberto Culver, Cheez-It at Kellogg’s and Huggies Baby Wipes at Kimberly Clark.
